ProdOps engineerAlpharetta, GALong Term Client is looking for a ProdOps engineer to work with one of the leading financial services organization in the US. The ideal candidate must possess a strong background in ProdOps, in a cloud (AWSP) environment. The candidate must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with domain experts and technical experts in the team. Responsibilities:Monitor online health of production application environments through dashboards and other available toolsTroubleshoot and resolve any issues with online production applicationNotify the right stakeholders in case of issues and keep everybody updated of the statusesOpen and run triage conference calls with the technical stakeholdersFacilitate the RCA for the production defectsSupport the release process with verification and validation through the release processManaging/supporting the patch and updates to the servers etc.Coordinate change and issue resolution activities with network, middleware, hardware, OS, DB, and external application groupsEscalation point for Level 1 support Requirements:Unix/Linux command KnowledgeShell Scripting knowledgeHands on experience in cloud platforms like AWSP etc. preferably certifiedData base knowledge in Oracle / SQL.Very good experience in handling Support and Development projects.Previous experience in service, delivery or consultancy with a proven track record for effective client support/SLA trackingWillingness to work in Day and Night shiftsAbility to drill into the detail of both technical and operational process, to support and communicate need both internally and externallyAbility to manage teams across locations.Expertise in using Microsoft Office ToolsPreferred Domain knowledge in FinanceEffective communication to multi-level audiences.Good communication skills, stakeholder management
