Kelly Services is currently looking for a Data Coordinator II for a leading manufacturing company in Fargo, ND.

Pay rate: $24.40 per hour

Assignment length: 9/2018 to 9/2025

Shift: 1st Shift 8-5, limited OT

Job Description:

Extracts and manipulates data from multiple systems across various departments to create statistical reports; analyzes department statistics, notes trends and makes recommendations to management; evaluates database effectiveness and reviews data for accuracy and trends; conducts training and provides technical support to database users; and researches and investigates data accuracy of reports and information.

Duties:

  • Analyzes requests for information and determines how to extract the data from the database systems for the appropriate reports.
  • Develops and tests the accuracy of reports created to ensure high quality information is provided to end-users.
  • Documents processes, conducts training, and provides technical support to database users.
  • Gathers and summarizes data from various sources in order to complete reports and special projects.
  • Retrieves records or data and distributes information as appropriate in order to provide timely and accurate information to department members or external customers.
  • Maintains database systems, ensuring the integrity of the data within each system and resolves issues relating to the database information.
  • Collaborates with various departments to develop and support data reporting needs.

Specific Position Requirements:

  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • High level proficiency with Microsoft Office products emphasis on Excel
  • Advanced skills testing will be required for resumes.

JOB FUNCTIONS

  • Perform inventory transactions.
  • Communicate team issues to the Production Supervisor, assist in resolving issues and providing support to the team.
  • Provide feedback and address challenges in a respectful manner.
  • Perform kitting / prepping as required by manufacturing processes.
  • Maintain a safe and clean work area.
  • Understand and apply 5S principles
  • Perform general operation and setup of equipment.
  • Perform general preventative maintenance and calibrations.
  • Pull jobs and parts for open jobs.
  • Prep parts in accordance with prepping manuals and MWI.
  • Maintain equipment log.

 

REQUIRED SKILLS AND ABILITIES

  • High School Education or equivalent required.
  • Manufacturing or assembly experience preferred.
  • Must be able to speak, read and comprehend the English language very well.
  • High degree of manual dexterity.
  • Physical requirements include the ability to stand for an 8 hour shift and to push/pull/lift up to 50 pounds throughout the shift.
  • Must be highly motivated, self-starter, and work with little or no supervision.
  • Demonstrated computer skills required, including field input and transmission requirements and understanding of daily reports.
  • Demonstrated verbal and written communication and teamwork skills.
  • Must be able to apply quality control techniques.
  • Must be able to read, interpret, and follow work instructions (MWI, SOP, etc.).
  • Experience with productivity, quality, and safety and environmental language and goal.
  • Demonstrated hand tool knowledge and operation.
  • Must be capable of distinguishing part and quantity numbers.
  • Capable of operating JLG Stock Picker and working at heights of up to 10 feet off the ground.
Administrative Assistant III 68

Kelly Services is currently looking for an Administrative Assistant II for a long term role in Valley City North Dakota.  This opportunity is with one of the world’s leading equipment and manufacturing companies. The position tentatively starts May 2018 and pay rate is 20.91 per hour. 

 

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Must be able to work with daily, weekly and monthly deadlines 
  • May coordinate arrangements creating/distributing the agenda, distributing the reports and taking care of the logistics such as room reservation, and lunch
  • Schedule and maintain minutes from meetings as requested
  • Timely handling of incoming and outgoing communications, particularly telephone calls, E-mail messages, and courier packages
  • Assist in event planning, record retentions procedures, and overall support to managers, supervisors and employees
  • Manage incoming phone calls through mail line phone system, visitor duties/lobby traffic, mail room duties, and coordinate office supplies/inventory. 
  • Create work instructions, update SharePoint sites, data entry, and responsible for factory postings. 
  • Safety equipment will be required when on the shop floor including safety shoes, bump cap, hearing protection and safety glasses. Working hours will be Monday through Friday 6am to 4:30pm.

 

Education and Experience

  • High school diploma 2 year degree (4 year degree preferred)
  • 2 years of related work experience
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communications skills, including experience with external contacts.
  • High level proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, Project and PowerPoint).
  • Site specific safety shoes required.
