Key Technical Qualifications:

  • 5 years of software development in Java with at least 2 years in a high-performance technical lead role.
  • 1-3 years of experience with Cloud Based Software Development (AWS, Azure, Google) and experience with shipping products on such technologies.
  • 3-5 years of experience working on Spring Boot.
  • 3-5 years programming in Java, C/C++, Python or Go.
  • Deep practical knowledge of software development (Microservice architecture, REST API), QA and testing as well as deployment processes and tools.
  • Hands-on knowledge of Enterprise Software (and cloud) technologies – messaging, databases, front-end and back-end.

Job Summary:

This position is responsible for the support of HRIS applications (including Banner HR, Talent Acquisition and Time Tracking) within the Human Resources department. ? Provides support and solutions for end users of Banner HR and PeopleAdmin functionality
? Support all customers (faculty, staff, applicants, HRM) by troubleshooting and resolving any system issues and problems – respond to customers quickly and accurately.
? Assist in the evaluation, functional review and specification and implementation of new features/functionality within the Banner HR and/or PeopleAdmin system
? Assist in the upgrade or patches associated with Banner HR and PeopleAdmin, including specification creation, testing and training
