Job Description


  • Design and Development of control algorithms and firmware for power converters.
  • Power Electronics Control (Active rectifier control or grid inverter control)
  • Exposure to Interface circuit design (analog circuit design for Microcontroller)
  • Architect and design embedded firmware for Power Converters.
  • Plan and perform firmware development and validation in the lab.
  • Integrate the power converter control algorithms into the system level software architecture.


Primary Skills:

  • Experience in Design of Drivers like ADCs, PWMs, Timers, Interrupts, etc.
  • Hands on experience in C/C++ programming for Power electronics converters using DSPs.
  • Hands on experience on power Electronics converters (AC-DC and DC-DC converters, Grid tied inverters) and Implementation of Control algorithms
  • Experience in DSP programming, testing and troubleshooting.
  • Exposure to Analog conditioning circuit design using Op-amps
  • Exposure to SPI, UART and CAN bus communications
  • Exposure to simulation tool (Matlab/Simulink)
  • Proficiency with sophisticated measurement and diagnostics equipment like digital Oscilloscopes, power analyzers, Signal Generators etc.
  • Code execution optimization for digital control loops and signal processing.
  • Knowledge in system modelling, analog, digital control systems and design.


Secondary Skills:

Must be self-motivated and able to complete tasks with little supervision.


Educational Qualifications:

Bachelor of Engineering Electrical/ Electronics
