Job Description

Founded in 2009, RBT Electric is a growing electrical and general contracting company based out of Anaheim, CA. A minority and veteran-owned business, we at RBT are a close-knit team looking to hire an experienced Senior Electrical Estimator that can estimate projects for current customer base. Need to be able to efficiently and accurately estimate new projects, provide cost savings alternatives, and handle the oversight of the production of projects from procuring materials to anticipating labor and manpower needs. This position reports to the President and has the potential for growth as our company expands.

Job Requirements:


To succeed in this position, you already have business development and electrical estimation experience. You have excellent communication skills and a positive and coachable personality:


Excel/Word Proficient

Proficient with estimating, and possesses good written and verbal communication skills.

Thorough understanding of the National Electrical Code and can apply it to projects effectively.

Must have proven experience with commercial electric systems.

Team player with a positive, well-organized, proactive attitude to support the profit and growth of the company.

Work with operations team to ensure 1st in class execution of project on time and budget.

Follow and monitor ongoing projects and quote contemplated change notices.

Anticipates potential problems; is proactive and takes action before potential problems become real problems.

Keep up-to-date proposal log.

Perform estimates from electrical drawings and control drawings or as seen on site.

Coordinate work with Subcontractors, when required. You follow-up on the progress of projects and if necessary, perform site visit. Manage administrative task when requested.

Develop and grow working relationships with new and existing clients, conducting business development and selling projects; prospect for new projects.
