Job Description

Position Summary:

The Division Manager leads and inspires the division sales team to meet and exceed sales targets. Sets expectations and trains the team in the use of the sales process and tools including IMPACT and CRM. Successfully interacts with all departments of the company in order to accomplish outstanding results

Division Overview:

The Area Accounts - Metalworking & Industrial division works closely with our Manufacturing accounts to bring innovative solutions that support their manufacturing needs.

  • Coolants
  • Corrosion Inhibitors
  • Quenching Oils
  • Hydraulic Oil
  • Cutting / Grinding Oil
  • Gear Oil
  • Forming Oils
  • Maintenance Oils
  • Cleaners


Primary Skills :

  • Sales
  • Sales Team management
  • Metal-working Fluids or related Industry

Education :

  • BA or equivalent experience - Preferred
  • Certified Lubricants Specialist - A Plus

Customer Focus:

  • Displays a high level of emotional intelligence. Takes ownership of the customer relationship. Provides win/win solutions based strategic planning and deep understanding of customer need. Sets and enforces high expectations for customer centric business practices.

Sales Expertise:

  • Is an expert in selling, leads and drives the utilization and improvement of Sales tools and processes. Mentors associates who are new to the process. Has advanced Sales Tools knowledge and uses these tools to create and support exceptional customer relationships, provide strong reporting and increase their sales success. Is able to share their expert negotiation skills through coaching and training, Consistently acheives or exceeds plan.

Technical Expertise:

  • Is an expert regarding the ILA products and services they handles as well as their application in the market. Has a broad understanding of all of the ILA products and services and how they integrate with their products. Helps to analyse the market for future needs and challenges and works with T&M to bring cutting edge solutions to the market.

Market Expertise:

  • Is positioned as a market expert with contacts and connections that place ILA as an innovative market leader.

Staff Development:

  • Shows strong leadership capability, Inspires and coaches the team to achieve and exceed their goals. Provides honest feedback in a timely fashion and builds a cohesive, collaborative team.

Business Management:

  • Has a broad understanding of business management best practices and strives to bring them to ILA

Global perspective:

  • Works to support the growth of ILA's presence in the US and global markets
