|Job Description The SAP BusinessObjects Dashboard Developer gathers requirements, designs, develops and tests reporting and analytic solutions in SAPMicrosoft SharePoint. The individual will work with Business Intelligence lead and internal customers to understand and analyze requirements and develop reporting and analytic solutions using SAP BOBJ tools and underlying technologies. This position expects a high degree of business analysis skills, application and technical product knowledge along with a good understanding of Dashboard integration with Microsoft SharePoint. Responsibilities Work with project lead and business users to understand business processes that drive analytics requirements, document project reporting requirements and translate them into functional and technical specifications for analytics solutions.|
Develop semantic layers (Business Universes). Build dashboards using SAP dashboard designer Publish SAP dashboard to Microsoft SharePoint, including necessary setup andor customization in SharePoint. Assist with development efforts in design, migration, reportdashboard creation, data modeling, and deployment. Collaborate with data warehouse team members to implement the end-to-end solution.
Perform testing and assist on report tuning and troubleshooting performance issues. Serve as a key member of cross-functional team that support both projects and production support, including work plans, system design and testing of solutions. Develop and assist in managing project plans to achieve projects. Read and interpret conceptual, logical, and physical models to include context, data flow, process flow, logical diagrams, and data dictionaries.
Job Requirements Over 5 years of experience in the BIDW field and SAP Business Objects tools. Ability to understand the overall business process drivers for analytics and provide guidance on operational vs analytical reporting. A minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in Business Objects tools such as Dashboard Designer (Xcelsius) and design of Business Universe. Experience in Oracle Database development In depth knowledge of PLSQL for Oracle 11g.
Solid experience building SQL queries, including creating sub-queries, minusunion, and inline queries and performance tuning of SQL in Oracle database. Good understanding of integration between BOBJ tools and Microsoft SharePoint. - Good SharePoint design and development experience in customizing SharePoint including using the MOSS object model and SharePoint Designer - Good knowledge and understanding of SharePoint concepts and design approaches is required. Hands on SharePoint and Web development experience, management and troubleshooting with a focus on deploying and supporting enterprise SharePoint solutions Strong technical skills to provide solutions with optimal performance.
Excellent business analysis skills with the ability to interact with both technical and business subject matter experts. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to lead broad audience through technical concepts. Team player that can work in a cross functional team environment. Work independently with minimal supervision and drive execution.
