Requisition Name: Applications Systems Analyst IV
Location: 500 Summer St. NE E21 Salem , Oregon  97301
Estimated Duration: 6 Months               
 
CONTRACTOR MUST WORK ON SITE.
 
Reviews, analyzes, and modifies programming systems including encoding, testing, debugging and installing to support an organization's application systems. Consults with users to identify current operating procedures and to clarify program objectives. Requires a bachelor's degree in area of specialty and at least 6 years or equivalent experience in the field or in a related area. Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures. Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks. May lead and direct the work of Contractor staff. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected.
 
The purpose of these services are to augment the existing eXPRS application support team with a highly skilled Java developer and solution architect that can assist the team in developing new functionality that supports the implementation of the eXPRS Plan of Care system. These services include the design and development of optimization routines to improve system performance; data exchange routines to accept alternate forms of data entry from provider agencies, counties, and brokerages; and knowledge transition of these system enhancements to existing team member to enable them to provide ongoing support.
