Job Description:

The Prof: Business Process Outsourcing is responsible for performing quality assurance activities, including gathering and clarifying testing requirements, documenting those requirements, performing the testing process, and certifying solutions. General areas of responsibility include:
· Writes and reviews test conditions and scripts
· Prepares estimates for work based upon requirements analysis
· Ability to read logical and physical database model diagram
· Performs project testing planning, status reporting, scheduling and communications
· Writes SQL to update and manage relevant table data
· Helps perform build validation and deployments
· Pinpoints source of problem found in testing
Highly Desired:
· 3 – 6 years previous experience in testing Client Server and Web applications
· 1 – 2 years previous experience in testing API and Web Services
· 1 – 2 years’
          experience working on test automation and creating automated regression and
          performance test suites using tools like SOAP UI, Visual Studio Ultimate or similar tools
          · Understanding of application software and hardware architecture principles
          · Understanding of the concepts pertinent to data center operations, network, telecommunications and
          application development and integration
          · Knowledge of software testing principles and practices
          · Strong analytical ability
          · Familiarity with source/document control programs
          · Familiarity with issue tacking tools like Jira or similar tools
          · Ability to interact with the development staff to resolve issues
          · Knowledge of the software development lifecycle
          Essential Job Functions
          • Establishes and documents a tailored Quality Test Plan in collaboration with the Quality Assurance Supervisor or Project Manager for the performance of quality assurance activities for assigned project or task
          • Assists the Quality Assurance Supervisor or Project Manager with developing estimates for quality assurance tasks for new projects and enhancements.
          • Provides status to the Quality Assurance Supervisor or Project Manager on assigned quality assurance and testing activities and task
          • Develops and oversees the quality assurance documentation for projects and tasks to include quality metrics. Ensures documentation complies with QA policies, procedures and P&C Quality Initiative best practices. Provides staff with input and feedback regarding revisions
          • Evaluates work products to assess quality and reports findings. Researches alternative solutions to problems, determines proper approaches, makes verbal and/or written recommendations to appropriate parties and assists with implementation of solutions 

          Job Requirements:

          Basic Qualifications
          • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience Bachelor's degree in business administration, information technology, computer science or related field preferred Four or more years of auditing, accounting, contracts or information technology experience Experience working with business processes Experience working with information technology applications and infrastructure Other Qualifications Organizational and time management skills Communication, presentation and facilitation skills Ability to conceptualize, develop and apply business and management consulting applications and services Ability to assess clients' business and identify improvement opportunities Willingness to travel CSC is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action employer.
