Client Job Title: JDE Technical Administrator
Job Type: Contract
Project Duration: 12 months
Job Location: Princeton, New Jersey

Top Three Skills: 1) Minimum 5 years of engineering, troubleshooting and supporting within a JDE and CNC system.
2) Consultant must possess 2 to 3 years doing systems engineering.
3) Should have well rounded experience in administration, support, development and reporting on an enterprise system. 


Job Description:Their primary objective is to ensure that what is developed is what is delivered. The team’s main activities will be:

• Provide systems solutions to development problems.
• Work with development teams in all lower environments to ensure successful production deployments
• Liaison on Infrastructure problems
• Environment Management
• Integration of applications related to PeopleSoft
• Installation packaging of applications using Change Assistant
• Migration Management (the coordination of the movement of application releases through different environments)
• Adherence to all Deployment processes established for PeopleSoft
• Creation of deployment documentation
• Adherence to the change management process
• Responsible for maintenance, support and deployment of the JDE OneWorld or EnterpriseOne application
• Perform day-to-day support, administration and problem resolution of the EnterpriseOne applications. A
dditionally chargeable for the daily maintenance, patch updates and testing
• OMW installation, setup and project promotion and administration
• Server and client package build and deployments
• Apply ESUs, ASUs, Updates and Service Pack upgrades
• JDE Administration of security, print, batch queues, performance tuning and monitoring via SAW
• Create and manage environments, pathcodes and instances
• Monitor and manage application system performance and availability
• Install configure and maintain Service Oriented Architecture applications in a clustered, load balanced high-availability environment
Someone who knows JD Edwards Administration (JDE, E1, One World) & CNC and light familiarity with PeopleSoft.
Administer Enterprise 1 (E1) Solutions and PeopleSoft
Other consultants were too far on the MF side, needs someone on the client server, web side
24x7 environment; rotating, on-call weekend support (every 3 to 4 weeks)
Challenging role – candidates should be able to come up with solutions on the fly, be able to work with external vendors (CSC and Accenture in this case), work with internal end users of the applications and engineer true technical solutions that map back to the business initiatives.
40 hours a week / onsite in Princeton, New Jersey
The customer would rather bring in a junior to mid level consultants and groom to learn or train on the client’s way of doing things and PeopleSoft.



JD Edwards CNC Skills – Junior to Mid-Level:
