Desktop Support Technician

5+ years of experience in the IT services, consulting, and/or support fields
Demonstrable mastery of all aspects of Mac environment.
Day-to-Day administration, monitoring and support of Apple Mac computers in a predominately Microsoft Windows environment
Understanding of certificate services, LDAP, and Kerberos
Understanding of a hybrid Mac / Windows / Enterprise environment
Solid understanding of IT systems, architectures, development languages / tools and current technologies.
Perform upgrades and enhancements using automated systems (e.g. Casper Suite, Microsoft SCCM) to maintain the infrastructure hardware and software
Working knowledge and experience with Mac software distribution tools.
Ability to understand business requirements and turn them into solutions.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills; able to consult and communicate with all levels in the organization, to advise management of new technology initiatives, and to propose process improvements based on emerging technologies to the benefit of the client.
Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
Create and maintain technical documentation
Assist with developing and executing policies, procedures and best practices to meet the needs of the growing demand.
