Job Description:

Support Configuration Management (CM) for ADNS engineering over the ADNS Product Line of Network Templates (Router, Switch, Packetshaper) and Quality of Service (QoS) documentation, as well as system drawings and bill of materials (BOMs) documents. Ensure that the resulting program’s Enterprise Change Requests (ECRs) from these integration efforts are started and tracked through each Program of Record Configuration Control Board (POR CCB), Platform Technical Review Board (PTRB), and other CM specific milestones. Assist in the Quality Assurance (QA) review of change requests and supporting documentation, as well as Configuration Control Board (CCB) reviews and change approvals.  Information Assurance Technical (IAT) Level II required to perform these functions to include at a minimum Certification in Security+, Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) 
IAT certification. 

 

Job Requirements:

Basic Qualifications 
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience 
  • Bachelor's degree in systems engineering, computer science, management information systems, or related field preferred 
  • Four or more years of experience in systems engineering, software engineering, operating systems programming, or naval architecture. 
  • Experience working with computer hardware, operating system software and desktop applications with a specific concentration in one or more areas 
  • Experience working with one or more structured programming languages 
  • Experience working with design principles and applications 

Other Qualifications 
  • Analytical and creative problem solving skills for design, creation and testing of systems 
  • Communication skills to communicate system proposals to management and customers and provide systems diagnoses and resolution for current systems 
  • Interpersonal skills to interact with customers, senior level personnel, and team members 
  • Organization skills to balance and prioritize work 
  • Leadership skills to assist less experienced personnel 
  • Ability to integrate moderately complex hardware and software systems 
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Information Assurance Technical (IAT) Level II required to perform these functions to include at a minimum Certification in Security+, Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) IAT certification. 

  • Four years in the ADNS Program (at the engineering level - lab/production/fielded systems)
