Title: Business Analyst
Duration: 12 + Months
Location: Austin, TX
A. Define, document and develop program area/business processes and requirements for project.
B. Assist in researching and developing specifications.
C. Develop and review project documentation, including business requirements, deliverables, project plans and schedules, and use case scenarios.
D. Coordinate with IT project leads, DADS program and other subject-matter experts, contractor representatives, and other state agency representatives as required to ensure necessary tasks, deliverables and timelines are completed.
E. Perform meeting and/or presentation preparation tasks as needed (e.g., prepare or oversee preparation of and provide agendas and pre-meeting materials as well as follow-up notes, post meeting materials, assignment follow-up and related activities).
F. Skilled in the use of the complete MS Office product line.
G. Other duties as assigned.
4 years of experience in Strong analytical, problem-identification and process analysis skills with the ability to envision a solution from requirements. A certain degree of creativity and latitude is required.
4 years of experience in reviewing, analyzing, and evaluating automated business systems and user needs to develop requirements, requirements traceability matrix, use case scenarios, etc.
4 years of experience with Strong writing, analytical, interpersonal, organizational, and communications skills are necessary.
4 years of Experience in working under limited supervision with considerable latitude for the use of initiative and independent judgment. Relies on limited experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
Nice to have:
3 years of working experience in a State/Federal government environment.
3 years of experience with working in a Model 204 environment.
