Project Manager


Responsible for completion of overall project milestones; Creates project charter and schedule documents with the support of the team; Work with the team to determine milestones, and what will be needed to meet milestone (time, resources, etc.), and how the scope fits into the milestone timelines. Creates tasks, works with project team to develop schedule and refine estimates based on abilities, dependencies and constraints; Monitor schedule for slippage, and take corrective action; Conduct and document regular team meetings; Resolve or escalate issues that cannot be quickly resolved by project team; Able to determine and communicate impact of changes and apply change management practices; Manage project scope using change control procedures; Work with team to define resource needs and request resources. Authorize training for team members as needed; Facilitates project meetings, walkthroughs and overall acceptance approval of project with stakeholders; Facilitate understanding and acceptance of deliverables Authors, maintains, and applies detailed project plans/backlog; Performs risk analysis for project. Identify and quantify risks. Develop and execute risk management plan in conjunction with sponsors. Provide monthly SPP updates and progress report to project sponsor, project team, and stakeholders. Provide performance feedback as requested on team member Manage dependencies. Gains knowledge of project details quickly to manage that work. Manages multiple streams of work Manages a range of skill sets, seniority, internal/external resources and deploys resources to maximize results; Build a team or join an existing team and establishes trust, demonstrates leadership and drives high performance Manages program/project communications. Demonstrates an appropriate level of knowledge and understanding of technology and/or business processes, associated issues, and alignment with our organizational strategies. Understands project roles and responsibilities of a project manager and other project personnel; Ability to be proactive; ability to quickly assesses situations; make a recommendations and deliver solutions; Quickly provide value to the team; Clearly state expectations between roles on the team; Quickly identify potential problems, issues, or risks and respond to them appropriately; Facilitate in creating & executing the transition plan for project work to Service Team
