Federal Information and Data Strategy falls within the AFS TGP organization and provides services aimed at improving the strategic intent, transforming economics and effectiveness, and the overall design, of a Federal organization's information technology capabilities and/or functions. Information technology capabilities include IT planning and management, IT processes and approaches, and IT assets that provide the operational components necessary to run applications. Data Strategy professionals help companies formulate a strategy and implementation plan to deliver information and insight. They meet dynamic data needs with a focus on architecture, process, technology and governance strategies. They envision new and innovative approaches in predicting probable business outcomes, shape the related operating model and architecture changes and assess impact to the bottom line.
3+ years of experience in designing and developing business intelligence and data management solutions
3+ years experience as DBA for relational database products such as Oracle, DB2, Sybase, MS SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL etc.
3+ years experience in business intelligence and data management planning and implementation
Bachelor's Degree Required
Experience articulating technical issues in business terms and vice-versa
Demonstrated mastery of the "technology stack" from infrastructure thru information, applications, and business logic
An active security clearance or the ability to obtain one, may be required for this role.
