The Epic Application Lead will be oversee the Project teams working on an individual Epic application, including but not limited to tools for use with navigation, documentation, ordering, decision support, and reporting.
This work may include implementation, optimization, upgrades, and application support.
Scope of work
Depending on the client engagement, the Epic Application Lead will be responsible for collaborating with Accenture team, Epic team and client to:
• Be responsible for all aspects of day-to-day project work on an individual Epic application
• Be responsible for collaborating with client business owners related to project work on an individual Epic application
• Plan project work on an individual Epic application
• Staff project work on an individual Epic application
• Serve as Accenture role model responsible for the development of team members staffed on Project
• Oversee and monitor execution of project work on an individual Epic application
• Transition project work on an individual Epic applicationb. Management responsibilities
• Staff, manage, and maintain a high performing, diverse team
• Create dynamic work environment
• Understand and shape Client business needs into Epic solutions
• Collaborate with Accenture Epic and Client teams
• Evaluate, document, and provide feedback for Accenture-Epic team members on a formal and ad hoc basis

University graduate (Computer Science or Healthcare relevant field of study)
Recent/current certification in Epic application
5+ years of EMR consulting experiences in similar environments to ours managing medium to large sized teams
5+ years of work experience in a healthcare provider environment
5+ years of consulting experiences in similar client environments to ours managing medium sized (3-5 person) teams
Ability to travel
2-3 years of experience in Epic implementation
Knowledge of the provider healthcare market
Demonstrated ability to work with Physicians and other clinicians
