Job Description:

As the Behavioral Data Integration Analyst in Bothell, Washington (WA), you'll support the UX team in data collection and predictive analysis to further the production of behavioral analytics research. You'll research projects summarize quantitative data collected through multiple channels across the customer's digital experience. 

  • Retrieve and contribute the information (data) to develop the strategy
  • Analyze relevant data on an ongoing basis to develop the knowledge (insights) the client can use to improve the digital user experience
  • Identify trends that validate and/or quantify key findings from the qualitative research program
  • Data Retrieval & Ingestion
  • Data collection using various third party and proprietary tools for auditing
  • Identification of data source (format, connection method) and retrieval
  • Integration with existing data sources
  • Data normalization and exploratory data analysis
  • Data Analysis
  • Perform and assemble research across multiple channels including user studies
  • Take direction and work with strategists on producing best practices docs for the strategy team
  • Assist with competitive intelligence research and monitoring
  • Organize and conduct analysis and present data to senior leadership
  • Brainstorm creative ideas for strategy
  • Organize and maintain excel workbooks, documents, and internal reports
  • Maintain curiosity and passion: a strong desire to learn all facets of the ever changing digital analytics landscape
  • Data analysis skills (cross-tabs aka pivots, data joins, statistical analysis)
  • Proficiency with MySQL or another higher-order database management system
  • Predictive Analytics and modeling
  • ROI development
  • XML or similar structured data format experience
  • Adobe Omniture/site catalyst and/or WebTrends experience
  • Business Intelligence tools experience
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (specifically Excel)
  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • Highly organized and able to adapt in a constantly changing industry
  • Open to change and willing to learn new skills
  • Ability to meet deadlines
  • Graduate (PhD preferred) level of education in behavioral (e.g. psychology) and or statistical/mathematical sciences
  • Statistical analysis software (SPSS, SAS, R, Systat, STATISTICA, Minitab) knowledge
  • Behavioral research design and analysis; scientific methods and hypothesis testing
  • Experience with ETL, crawling, data cleaning, normalization, data integration, data quality, and large-scale data management
  • Technical skills to automate operations and analyses: scripting (shell, Perl, Python, Matlab), Java, C++, query languages (SQL, Web Intelligence - Business Objects)
  • Background in Graph theory, semantic networks, data structures is a plus
  • Big Data applications: Experience with Map-Reduce frameworks such as Pig and Scalding, Hadoop
  • Training in semantic analysis, text mining, entity extraction, machine learning, NLP, behavioral modeling, model validation and testing, and predicting modeling
  • Analysis of structured and unstructured data
