Job Description:

Kforce is seeking a Client Reference Data Business Analyst in the Newark, Delaware (DE) area for one of our premier clients. This position has potential for extension. 

The Client Reference Data Business Analyst will be responsible for analyzing reference data (not financial), making decisions based upon the data analyzed, updating reference data in the various reference data repositories, preparing files for submission to technology teams to update the data, validating the results of the data uploads, testing data uploads to ensure success when implemented in a production environment, producing daily stats to management to report on progress, producing weekly stats that will be used for senior management review, comparing data across multiple tables (ie: excel v-look ups, compares, etc.), updating procedures which detail the process being followed, and working with our client on boarding team to address questions, resolve queries. 

  • College degree or equivalent work experience
  • A minimum of 1 to 2 years experience in Investment Bank Operations with Investment Bank products, systems, industries, and credit structure
  • Ability to learn and use multiple, complex databases and systems in a relatively short timeframe
  • Strong client focus and relationship-building skills across lines of business and levels
  • Demonstrated attention to detail
  • Able to communicate articulately, both written and verbally, to all levels of staff and management, and influence and support decisions
  • Ability to work independently, as well as in a team environment
  • Proficiency with MS Office applications (Word, Excel, Power Point)
  • Experience with Client Central
  • Robust analytical skills and judgment
  • Ability to independently make 'client-centric' decisions
  • Ability to recognize and appropriately escalate issues and discrepancies
  • Knowledge of, experience with, and ability to apply process improvement and process control concepts
  • Ability to create and foster cross-LOB partnerships
  • Strong influence and negotiation skills to drive process control, changes, and provide supporting rationale
