•Advanced knowledge of various industrial automation protocols such as CAN, RS-232/485, Ethernet and GPIB, FlexRay, Modbus etc..
•Ability to perform advanced programming tasks in LabView, Interfacing with USB/Serial devices, Analog and Digital IO blocks, Sensors such as Hall Effect, Rotary Encoders, Thermocouples and linear position sensors (lasers and LVDT’s etc.).
•Knowledge of LabView of DAQmx, VISA, XNET and ECU Toolkit, and LabView Real-Time Module
•High level knowledge of NI hardware and their advantages and limitations
•Strong electrical background coupled with ability to specify control components for various new applications.
•Ability to understand and troubleshoot Control System Hardware/Software.
•Good understanding of Mechanical, Hydraulics, Pneumatics and Solenoids.
•Conducts root cause investigation of issues in both Production and New Product Development.
•Creates/maintains software, procedures, and user manuals for Key Functional, Design Validation and Production Validation test fixtures.
•Expertise in operating systems like Windows 7 or higher.
•Knowledge in Microsoft Office 2010 Applications, SharePoint, Remote Desktop, FTP, HTTP, SMTP and Java.
•Ability to create/render user graphical interfaces that are user friendly and intuitive.
•Ability to work independently, as well as on a project team to meet project deadlines and deliverables.
•Support Test Engineers creating and performing Software and Mechatronic Validation procedures
•BS Electrical Engineering or Electronics Engineering or Bachelor’s Degree in related field.
