Job Description:

Kelly Services is currently recruiting for an Ops Coordinator for a 12 month project assignment for our client, one of the world’s leading innovative technology companies, at its location in Santa Clara Valley, CA. The assignment tentatively starts in September 2016.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
•    Handle logistics for all of the department’s programs
•    Plan and executes logistics for each training event
•    Logistics include, but are not limited to, creating class materials such as handouts and job aids, posting class descriptions, reserving rooms, booking trainers, registering participants, and setting up and breaking down the training rooms. 
•    Act as an administrator for the department’s training tracking application that maintains attendance, registration, and reporting on classes
•    Assisting with New Employee Orientation 
•    Supporting the department as new programs and initiatives are created
•    Additionally, the coordinator is the “go to” person on the training team, so a small portion of the job is administrative (including travel/expense reports) 

Required Experience and Skills:
•    Proficient with common productivity tools such as Word, Excel, and Keynote
•    Must be able to create, with minimal supervision, visually appealing handouts and slides that use both text and graphics
•    Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to handle sensitive information with tact, diplomacy, discretion and judgment
•    Desire and experience to provide outstanding customer service to all individuals involved in the training process, updating complex interactions with employees at all levels of the organization
•    Passion for helping others learn and develop 
•    Awareness of what makes learning experiences effective
•    Interest in how technology can be applied to corporate learning and ideas for making this a reality
•    Strong organizational and prioritization skills
•    Capable of getting things done both through formal/informal channels & networks
•    Ability to create processes that streamline routine logistical tasks
•    Relentless attention to detail
•    Multi-tasking skills 
•    Commitment to follow-through to ensure tasks are completed 
•    Ability to manage own work to meet deadlines
•    Strong interpersonal skills     

Term of Assignment:
•    12+ month assignment: Start September 2016 – September 2017
•    Full-time 40 hours per week 8:00am-5:00pm
