A Loan Officer Assistant will work together with designated Loan officer in a productive
environment. This position involves commitment to support a team in the loan origination process as well as performing daily administrative tasks. Tasks must also be completed on or before the deadline and with proficiency .
Perform specific tasks assigned by loan officer
Ensure files move through processing and closing in a timely manner
Establish appointments with clients
Meet with clients to complete necessary documents
Make copies of important documents
Promptly respond to client’s questions and concerns
Follow up with clients at all times, keeping them informed of the loan process
Accurately obtain & review applicant’s credit history
Systematically store and maintain client data and files
Properly prepare files for submission to processing
Daily illustration of excellent customer service skills with clients and applicants to ensure client retention
Efficiently perform a variety of research duties in support of the branch
Stay acquainted with assigned Loan Officer’s daily schedule
Proficiently assist in the development of financial objectives in association with present data
Responsibilities (including but not limited to):
Interview prospects for possible qualification.
Conduct the pre-qual and pull the credit for likely prospects.
Assist the Loan Officer and Loan Processor with originating and completing loans.
Assist the Loan Officer and Loan Processor in communicating and following up with clients and real estate agents.

You must have 3 years of current experience.
You must be familiar with FHA, VA, & Conventional (Fannie/Freddie/Portfolio) loan processing and originating.
You must know how to price a loan and disclose.
You must know how to put together a complete file.
You must have a thorough knowledge of the loan process from beginning to end.
You must be personable, presentable, and professional over the phone and in person.
You must be someone, whom customer service and helping others is the most priority.
