Position Functions or Responsibilities:
Health Commerce System (HCS) Communication Directory for ISTOP Access Control
Provide analysis, present proof of concept, design and build a solution to migrate existing HCS Communication Directory into a new Oracle database.
Design, Develop and Document Services to act as an User Permission and Information Service Gateway with SOAP and REST Services.
Propose architecture to present end to end solution for bi-directional data replication to and from Oracle to support the migration process.
Extend architecture to detailed design level methods for synchronization between legacy new database design.
Analyze legacy data structure and data with internal staff to propose new data model for the Places and Persons portion of the communications directory.
 
HCS Account System Enhancement and Improvement for ISTOP
Design and develop enhancement to the HCS Account system to streamline the HCS account creation and management for practitioners.
Design and plan the migration of HCS Account System from the legacy Sun IDM to a supported platform.
 
HCS Infrastructure Improvement for ISTOP
Design and develop a plan for high availability and disaster recovery of HCS Infrastructure
 
 
Required skills:
  
  • 4 years of experience developing cross-platform data integration and migration solutions for Oracle.
  • 3 years of experience creating data models for Oracle that supports multiple interfaces.  Interfaces should include direct database query, SOAP and REST webservices.
  • 3 years of hands on experience using Oracle Goldengate or  similar solutions. 
  • 7 years of hands on experience designing/architecting web applications with web technologies in a JEE environment, including Servlets, JSP, Java/J2EE, HTTP, HTML, XML, XSLT, SQL, PL/SQL, JDBC/Hibernate, myBATIS, and/or RMI on a WebLogic Application Server.
  • 7 years of hands on experience in designing/architecting Oracle WebLogic Java applications from specifications expressed by use cases, class diagrams, interaction diagrams and sequence diagrams.
  • 3 years of hands-on development of Web services, including SOAP based and/or RestFul based implementations
