The office clerk compiles and maintains records of business transactions and office activities, performing a variety of clerical duties and utilizing knowledge of office systems or procedures.
Answer phones and greet clients warmly.
Perform basic bookkeeping duties.
Reroute calls to appropriate people.
Help organize office activities.
Operate office machines (photocopiers, scanners, facsimile machines, personal computers).
Sort and distribute incoming mail.
Handle travel arrangements and expense reports for staff.
Schedule meetings and conferences.
Administrative writing skills and good verbal communication skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office.
Excellent organizational, administrative, and problem solving skills.
High school diploma, College degree preferred.
