The Engineering Program Manager (EPM) reports to the Sr Manager of Engineering Program Management and is responsible for leading PE team tactical execution efforts on deployed goals specific to their project focus area. The EPM manages cost, schedule scope, risk, and product as well as project performance and quality. The EPM manages Earned Value and performs Earned Value Analysis and reports status and presents program reviews monthly on all initiatives they are responsible for to the Honeywell leadership team. The successful EPM candidate will lead these efforts in one of three product area specific focus teams in the Engine, Actuation, and Cabin Pressure Controls department of the Electric Power and Controls Center of Excellence. The EPM will lead a cross functional technical discipline based team with responsibility for cost, schedule and scope management of initiatives in support of customer product development needs. He or she will drive the project teams efforts to fulfill Integrated Product Delivery and Support (IPDS) process requirements, customer requirements, Honeywell Aerospace Procedure and Aerospace Guideline needs, and regulatory agency approval concerns, while developing electronic controls products intended for aircraft deployment. The EPM will enforce standardization and re-use goals, and ensure tactical execution goals are supported uniformly on their project(s). The EPM cross-functional platform development focused IPDS teams will consist of Systems, Circuit, Software, Reliability, Mechanical and Manufacturing Engineering disciplines, among others, within a matrix organization. The EPM will participate in development of product-line alignment and competitiveness activities as it applies to their team. The EPM will team with the Product Team Lead (PTL) for their focus area and other Honeywell leaders to facilitate project execution success. The EPM is responsible for demonstrating control of their projects and ensuring project commitments are met. Other responsibilities of this role to be defined and assigned as required.
-Bachelor of Science degree in engineering or related field
-10 or more yrs project or program mgmt experience
