Position: MS CRM Dynamics DBA Admin
Location: Fairfax, VA
Duration: 6 Months
(must have implemented and performed migrations of the product – not just done maintanence)
This is an exceptional opportunity for a talented individual, who would like to join the growing team business analysts, developers, testers and product owners supporting the transformation of the world’s leading higher education ERP, Ellucian Banner, serving almost 1,400 institutions in 40 countries.
This individual will also be responsible to:
Ensure that the Ellucian Enterprise CRM Microsoft Dynamics business solutions are deployed in a multi-tenant environment.
Ensure that the Ellucian Enterprise CRM Self Service applications are deployed in a multi-tenant environment.
Ensure that the Ellucian Enterprise CRM SaaS Service integration is deployed in a multi-tenant environment.
Ensure that the Ellucian Payment Gateway is deployed in a multi-tenant environment.
Ensure that all of the Ellucian Enterprise CRM business solutions perform and scale appropriately.
Install and configure Ellucian’s Dynamics CRM managed solutions in a test and production architecture within a multi-tenant Dynamics CRM configuration for a SaaS offering.
Play a pivotal role in implementation programs by leading & driving CRM initiatives through the phases of Discover (identify requirements) and Define (translate into CRM solution).
Identify the customer’s requirements and lead solution definition through business process enhancements, functional design and conceptualization of business & technical solution architecture.
Play an advisory role in consulting engagements to help customers in their CRM journey and transformation by defining a strategy and roadmap to realize CRM vision
Responsible for researching, test and articulate the current best practices for the deployment of the Ellucian Dynamics CRM business solutions within a multi-tenant Dynamics CRM configuration, leveraging Ellucian’s Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) partnership.
Validate findings and tune/configure architecture in development, test, performance and production environments to represent usage patterns of typical clients.
Monitor the Ellucian Dynamics CRM business solutions architecture and adjust based on system capacity and usage.
Document current best practices and regularly update the Ellucian Dynamics CRM business solution SaaS architecture, administration, and support procedures documentation.
Frequently engage and collaborate with the Cloud Services organization on the Ellucian Dynamics CRM business solution production deployment team and respond to escalation and critical issues promptly. Address feedback within a reasonable time frame based on urgency and effort, accounting for current project commitments.
Coordinate and conduct performance testing of Ellucian Dynamics CRM business solutions SaaS architecture on IaaS architecture prior to production deployment.             Additional Notes:     
Position Requirements:        What we need from you:
Required Skills/Knowledge/Experience:
Bachelor’s degree required (technical related field a plus)
Dynamics CRM 2011, Dynamics CRM 2013 and Dynamics CRM 2015
Microsoft SQL Server 2008, Microsoft SQL Server 2012 and Microsoft SQL Server 2014
Windows Server 2008 R2 and Windows Server 2012 R2
Multiple end-to-end CRM implementations including complex implementation for a large user-base
Solution Architecture expertise in areas of CRM configuration & customization , extending CRM platform components & framework, integration, reporting, data migration, BI and security
Deep product knowledge of MSFT Dynamics, functional & technical background , high degree of techno-functional proficiency on CRM business processes
Expertise in Recruiter deployment/implementation, support methodologies and best practices a plus
Ability to deconstruct complex technical issues to identify root cause issues
Demonstrated aptitude for logical application of problem solving techniques.
Demonstrated ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical resources
Strong communication, analytical and problem solving skills and abilities
Dedicated to customer support and success.
Focus and experience in achieving client outcomes
Experience with Ellucian Recruiter is a plus
Desired Skills/Knowledge/Experience:
Minimum 5 years of experience in Dynamics CRM and Microsoft technologies stack.
Global deployment experience, preferably in both online and on-premise version
Knowledge of onsite-offshore delivery and working across geographies and business cultures
Good understanding of ISV solutions in the market & their application in implementation
Strong presentation skills
