1.Oversee HSE awareness, hazard identification, risk assessment & emergency preparedness through training.
2.Conduct regular inspections and audits in the workplace against Company and international regulations.
3.Ensure that the Company is operating in compliance with Health Safety and Environment Policies.
4.Preparation, analysis and implementation of Safe Practices Policies at individual work sites.
5.Inspect machinery, equipment and workplace to ensure protective equipment availability and correct usage.
6.Monitor improvements in performance through auditing and job site inspections.
7.Design and install safety signage (informative, directional, regulatory, precautionary, etc) as required.
8.Remain abreast of local and international HSE laws, regulations and norms.
9.Ensure HSE Policy Statements are understood by onshore and offshore personnel.
10.Identify and implement training requirements for offshore personnel.
11.Report to HSE Superintendent on issues relating to the continuous improvement of the HSE Program.
12.Produce weekly report for the HSE Superintendent as a summary of the weeks activities and issues.
13.weekly HSE meetings with the Operations department to document issues and/or concerns.
