The Georgia Institute of Technology's Office of Information Technology is seeking a strong, independent Messaging Engineer with in-depth experience with open ldap and postfix and preferred experience with sql queries and working in a unix mail flow infrastructure. The resource does not need to be customer facing but should be able to strive in a Higher Education environment with work based from priority-based initiatives and work performed within standard change management/quality assurance procedures. Work may be completed remotely within a standard 8-5pm EST business day (negotiable) but must be video conference capable (webcam and microphone).Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or comparable experience
- 5 years+ experience in Messaging technologies (postfix, queue management, av/as technologies, messaging connectors or listeners)
- 5 years+ experience working in a unix-based infrastructure (open ldap, sql)
- Preferred experience with Cisco's IronPort Email Security Appliances and upgrades
- Experiencing in working with priority-led initiatives and developing action plans for approval in a change management environment.
