Servicing Capital Markets is responsible for executing market-based transactions to help manage the risk and portfolio objectives of Freddie Mac and its customers. This position will have responsibility for lead managing certain of these transactions, and supporting other initiatives and efforts within the Servicing Capital Markets group.
Under the supervision of the Director, Structured Transactions of Servicing Capital Markets:
i) Lead manage Non-Performing Loan (NPL) Sale transactions with mortgage servicers
ii) Lead manage Voluntary Partial Cancellations (VPC) to Interim Servicer transactions
iii) Negotiate key terms and conditions with the objective of minimizing Freddie Mac operational, credit, legal, and counterparty credit risk
iv Interact with internal stakeholders to coordinate operational aspects of transactions
v) Interact with senior management of the Single Family Portfolio Management Division, and other divisions, on transaction attributes, value and risk trade-offs
vi) Manage relationships with Freddie Mac customers and vendors that are stakeholders in the transactions
Vii Provide support to the Servicing Capital Markets group as required Required qualification
i) This position will require experience in leading, managing, and coordinating complex transactions with multiple key variables. A high priority for this posting is experience in managing such transactions, key stakeholders, and ability/desire to have responsibility for completing successful executions.
ii) Legal experience at a senior level is highly preferred, but not mandatory.
iii) Experience and understanding of mortgage servicing is preferred, but not mandatory.
iv) A high degree of comfort with interacting with senior management of Freddie Mac and external stakeholders is mandatory. Experience with dealing with senior executives and boards is highly preferred, but not mandatory
