The Sr. Director of Business Development will be responsible for Global Video & Connected Life Business and Market Development. In this role they will lead alignment with GEO, BE, and Services teams to identify and prioritize Business opportunities and customer requirements. In addition, they will lead a BD team that engages Transformational accounts at the CXO level to build intimacy and drive the insertion of Cisco strategic solutions such as cDVR, TSTV, OTT, Client Software & Security, and CMTS/HFC Transformation. This is a back fill requisition, as such the Transformational Accounts engagements that are underway include but are not limited to: NTT, America Movil, Shaw, Megacable, Cablevision, and Warner Bros.
The successful candidate will have a proven track record in: • Developing, presenting and delivering next generation horizon 2-3 solutions to C-level customers. • Liaise effectively across internal organizations and supporting the development of video and cloud specific innovation from inception through deployment • Interact with cross-functional team, including some of the most senior leaders within Cisco’s Service Provider organization • Championing and structuring large complex transformational deals on back of technology and business outcomes • Must have proven experience in working with internal teams to create and deliver compelling quality client facing deliverables • Analyzing industry drivers and dynamics/Awareness of Customer Business drivers/Awareness of End-User Application Trends/Executes against strategy to deliver desired business results through a holistic approach. Prior exposure to Video, Mobility, and Cloud is desirable
