Job Description

Strong proponent of DevOps engineering methodologies Experience in setting CI/CD pipeline Build automation - Configure CI/CD in VSTS/Jenkins with relevant plugins for Microsoft, Java code base Work with architects and other technologists to determine the technical design for feature requirements and effectively communicate the design to others in the team. Ability to build and deliver hands-on technology proof-of-concepts and demonstrations. Drive innovation through rapid prototyping and iterative development. Has experience leading DevOps teams.

Key Responsibilities:
?        Design, architect, and implement next generation Cloud architecture and automation solutions
?        Implement, maintain, and improve Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery environments
?        Own and lead initiatives to define, design, and implement DevOps solutions, which include reference architectures, estimates, and costing
?        Bean enabler for a successful and smooth transition from the development to the delivery of technology applications
?        Provide thought leadership and technical expertise
?        Assess gaps in the client’s tool chain and recommend suitable alternatives and develop DevOps roadmap to meet the business requirements
?        Research and document best practices, engineering standards and required SLCdeliverables
?        Focus on performance and load testing and Reliability engineering/monitoring
?        Strong automation skills (tool agnostic) and the ability to drive initiatives to automate processes.
?        Designs Configuration management and test automation solutions to meet the needs of application deployment and management. 

Skills & Experience:

  • Strong bash scripting and command line / SSH skills
  • An understanding and some experience of network administration, DNS, firewall maintenance and security
  • An understanding and experience of testing and software quality assurance.
  • A computer science degree or can demonstrate equivalent professional knowledge and skills sets.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills, including report writing and technical documentation.
  • Significant systems administration experience in a Unix / Linux environment
  • preferred candidates from Master's major in Computer applications
