Essential Job Functions:

Title:           Database & System Admin L-3
Duration:    6+Months

Location:    New York City, NY



 The consultant will:
- Assist with gathering and documenting user and process requirements
- Provide leadership with the development of policies and procedures for consistent ServiceNow product delivery in enterprise environment
- Hands on experience with CMDB and implementing API's for CI feeds into the DB, load of data into and between ServiceNow & other systems
- Experience with working or developing in any of the following (JavaScript, PHP, C, Java, Perl, HTML or HTML 5)
- Create and configure business rules, UI pages & policies, UI actions, scripting and ACL's including advanced scripting of each in ServiceNow
- Develop workflows and process automation within ServiceNow
- Create ServiceNow reports, dashboards and templates
- Work on build out of Service Catalog items in ServiceNow
- Provide support to integrate ServiceNow to other applications
- Provide general support, administration and maintenance of ServiceNow platforms and associated applications after deployment

Skills Required:

  • 8+ years of experience with information technology projects.
  • 4+ years ServiceNow administration experience
  • ServiceNow System Administrator Certification
  • Ability to gather end user requirements and work with stakeholders to meet business objectives
  • ITIL V3 Foundation Certification preferred
  • Excellent knowledge of ServiceNow best practices and ongoing knowledge of latest ServiceNow features
  • Familiarity with LDAP, MS Active Directory, ADFS
  • Familiar with Service Oriented architecture and web services integration (SOAP, WSDL, REST)
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to work well with team members, customers, and contractors

Daily Duties:

  • Implementation of ServiceNow ITSM & ITBM
  • Participate in internal and vendor meetings
  • Facilitate and support enhancements or new versions
  • Monitor and Administer ServiceNow
