The Applications Consultant plays a lead functional role on the Creative Technologies team, supporting creative and design technologies across the enterprise. 

 Will act as a functional product expert for Design, Visual, and Creative Marketing business functions by understanding and formulating recommendations on business process design and related application of software products that support functional business processes. 
 
RESPONSIBILITIES: 

  • Serves as the overall Functional Lead on multiple projects or large scale programs. Leads project segments, including cutover planning, performance or UAT testing. 
  • Utilize knowledge of application architecture, industry trends or best practices to recommend process or technology changes for the applications in the group's portfolio. 
  • Recommend operational procedure additions or changes for all areas. Ensure the overall quality and consistency of documentation in support and procedural libraries are maintained and accurate. 
  • Ensure delivery of pertinent status communication on issues, requests, problems or other items to all parties as appropriate. Communicate and coordinate communication of status for escalations, including senior leaders. 
  • Manage and monitor overall SLA compliance for the area of work. Recommend corrective actions, share successes.. 
  • Identify the impacts of planned application or system outages. Ensure overall coverage for the event/s including coordination and communication with user groups, supporting technical teams and leadership. 
  • Lead and establish project meetings to drive the program. Ensure meetings have agendas, objectives, and are facilitated. Engage correct teams and partners. Overall delivery of work products supporting enhancement, project or program work by phase, iteration, or sprint. Utilizes varies SDLC methodologies to drive delivery in partnership with PM and other Leads. Recommends appropriate methodology. 
  • Accountable for the overall project or program status communication and reporting in partnership with the PM and other Leads. Drive awareness of status, opportunities, risks, and issues of the project with appropriate parties, including LBrands leadership. 
  • Ensure the participation and engagement of all teams, functions, or external vendors needed to deliver enhancements, projects or programs. 
  • Facilitate overall vendor engagement and partnership. Establish a communication plan with each vendor. Collaborate on process improvements to increase work quality, efficiency, or speed. 
  • Identify timeline considerations including key assumptions and constraints in partnership with PM and other leads. Establish activity and project timetables and recommend prioritization. 
  • The coordinate overall effort to translate business requests to functional requirements and high-level design. Create and review requirements, scope, and draft functional design documents. initial risk and mitigation recommendations. 
  • Create functional design, configuration, and final scope statement deliverables for enhancements or projects. Lead review sessions with user groups and cross-functional technical teams. 
  • Utilize and refine design principles established for applications to ensure the end product delivered has the requested business function. 
  • Identify impacts on adjoining systems. 

QUALIFICATIONS: 

  • Bachelor's degree in Business or Information Systems or related field and/or equivalent experience. 
  • 5-7 years of experience in a retail/creative environment 
  • Strong functional knowledge of fashion product design & development business processes from concept to production. 
  • Knowledge and understanding of visual merchandising, merchandising, and marketing. 
  • Knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud applications and services, Adobe Experience Manager, CAD systems for textile and graphics design, CAD systems for garment pattern management, 3D CAD systems for hard goods and apparel, and Apple technology.
