Job Summary:

To work with lenders, senior loan officers (including commercial officers) and attorneys to acquire, analyze and organize all necessary documents needed to process closing packages from initial receipt to funding.

 

Job Roles:

  • Process and quality check all documents from lenders and attorneys for accuracy.
  • Prepare Title Company closing documents in timely and professional manner.
  • Respond to inquiries from borrowers, lenders and attorneys to resolve discrepancies.
  • Run final disbursement ledger to verify it is at a zero balance. If not, resolve the issues and/or make suggestions to solve the issues.
  • Prior to closing, call and confirm with lenders how the packages are being sent
  • Work to build strong partnerships with local lenders, realtors, attorneys.
  • Act as a point person for other branch Escrow Processors.

 

Specific Knowledge

  • Expert in escrow standards and pre-underwriting for title clearance, assure Hold Harm lessees or subordinations have been requested, must make sure title is clear for closing.
  • Knowledgeable in real estate regulations and guidelines, document preparation, and RESPA rules.
  • Comprehensive understanding of pay off per diems & tax proration’s, interest etc.
  • Have a thorough understanding of lenders documents and recordings with the ability to answer any questions.

Duties

  • Learning what constitutes good engineering practice and applying it to his/her work.

  • Assisting in preliminary design studies, project planning, and related activities that lead to the design of a project.

  • Checking designs prepared by others.
  • Utilizing computers and CAD in the design effort.

Qualification

Minimum Requirements

  • A bachelor's degree in engineering from an accredited institution.
  • EIT is preferred.
  • Minimum of one year of Civil design experience.
  • Must have Civil 3D experience. 
  • The ability to express ideas clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing.

 

Physical Requirements

  • Must be willing to work flexible schedules, overtime and overnight travel as needed by the department needs.
  • Must be able to operate a computer and sit for long periods of time.
  • Ability to work in the field or outside, able to bend, stoop and climb.
