Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

  • Mail/Shipping Services Coordinator will learn all the functions within the Pharmacy Shipping Operations Department, to include all functions to ensure the orders get shipped as promised.
  • Responsible for the packaging, shipping and storing of pharmaceutical products and supplies under the supervision of a Staff Pharmacist.
  • Performs warehouse related functions and collaborates with other members of the Back-end Team to assist with other warehouse duties as assigned.
  • Verifies that medication and supplies in package being shipped match the label on package.
  • Places appropriate drug inserts and new customer kits, if applicable, in package being shipped.
  • Distributes and delivers supply orders to appropriate staff/areas throughout the building, i.e., copier paper, kitchen supplies and other general supplies.
  • Process both inbound & outbound medical equipment.
  • Handles disposal of sharps & bio-hazard waste appropriately.
  • Receives & stocks incoming inventory, processes & tracks UPS/Fed-ex shipments.
  • Observes legal and ethical guidelines for safeguarding the confidentiality of patient and proprietary information.
  • They ability to lift up to 50lbs.

 

Required:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • SHIPPING & RECEIVING and PACKING
  • Valid Driver's License

Summary:

Perform testing that a Materials Tech normally completes: preparation of cable samples, materials preparation for aging in different environments, testing incoming materials, work with Physical Testing load frames, and many other laboratory equipment. This employee will maintain organization of test samples, and perform data transfer from computer to Excel documentation or to the Work Request system in SharePoint. They will need to work with engineers to get them the information needed for the work being requested.

Will be working in lab environment testing cable and connector type materials.

Required - Microsoft Office, Must have experience in Excel.
