Skills Required

Job Description:

Summary: This position is responsible for providing service to the facility in order to insure an efficient and effective operation and assist in keeping machinery running to maintain continuous production.

 

Responsibilities include:

Troubleshoot and repair machine breakdowns; performing preventive maintenance and adjusting equipment; perform maintenance on production line equipment, set up and break down production line machinery; Perform certain lubrication functions. Other responsibilities include: checks out and accounts for parts used on the job; fill out daily documentation that is required in SAP; perform any other tasks assigned which may include welding, fabricating, electrical, plumbing, painting and cleaning.

 

Requirements:

Education:

High School Diploma. Experience: 1+ years of maintenance experience. Computer Skills: Basic Computer skills required; knowledge of Tyson SAP software to make work orders and PM's preferred.

 

Communication Skills:

Good Verbal and written communication skills. Special Skills: Basic math skills required.

 

Physical Requirements:

Must be able to lift 50 lbs. on a daily basis; must be able to troubleshoot equipment; must be able to work in harsh environments for short periods of time (Ex: Heat, cold, rain, snow, wind, water, mud, etc.); must be able to work on your feet for a period of 12 hours.

Job Purpose:

  • Hands-on device setup, installation, upgrade, configuration and troubleshooting of computing hardware and storage carts
