Sierra-Cedar is seeking motivated and experienced Associate Technical Analyst to join our Public Sector Cloud practice. If you are passionate about technology, the clients, and all the challenges that go with being a consultant, you will want to be a part of our team. This position requires travel with projects executed on-site at Sierra-Cedar client locations nationwide.


  • Provides Oracle Cloud functional consulting services to Public Sector clients
  • Writes and reviews functional design documents, training manuals and other necessary documentation
  • Reviews technical design documents and works with technical team to solve functional issues
  • Creates queries and writes/runs Cloud scripts where necessary
  • Participates in all testing phases including issue reporting and results tracking
  • Displays functional knowledge with Financials business processes
  • Participates and assists in the design and execution of implementation and upgrade methodology, testing, budgeting and project metrics, status reporting, risk management, executive and internal communications, and general daily activities
  • Participates in business process reengineering, best practices, and customization issues
  • Acts, where necessary, as the liaison between the internal project teams
  • Shares suggestions and knowledge capital to help optimize Sierra-Cedar  implementation methodology


  • Degree in Computer Science, MIS/CIS, Computer Engineering, MBA or Business is preferred
  • Ability to work in all phases of the project life cycle
  • Familiarity with basic design and coding standards
  • Ability to create functional designs for meeting business requirements
  • Knowledge of general programming concepts
  • Experience with a software product (preferred, but not required)
