Sierra-Cedar is seeking motivated Associate Business Analyst to join our Public Sector PeopleSoft practice. This is an entry-level position for a new graduate or alumni candidate. If you are passionate about the technology, the clients, and all the challenges that go with being a consultant, you will want to be a part of our team. Our people have the skills and business savvy to provide exceptional consulting services to clients, helping them gain the optimum benefit from their PeopleSoft system.

This position requires resources to be based in or willing to relocate to Fort Lauderdale, FL for the initial assignment. This position requires travel with projects executed onsite at Sierra-Cedar client locations nationwide.


  • Provides PeopleSoft functional consulting services to Public Sector clients
  • Writes and reviews functional design documents, training manuals and other necessary documentation
  • Participates in business process re-engineering, best practices, and customization issues
  • Acts, where necessary, as the liaison between the internal project teams
  • Shares suggestions and knowledge capital to help optimize implementation methodology
  • Gather and analyze business needs and software requirements
  • Document and analyze the business processes/workflows, information and data
  • Manage requirements traceability throughout the project
  • Liaison between the project stakeholders and the quality assurance team
  • Assist with system testing and the user acceptance testing process as needed
  • Develop/configure application based on documented requirements


  • Degree in Computer Science, MIS/CIS, Computer Engineering, MBA or Business is preferred
  • Ability to work in all phases of the project life cycle
  • Familiarity with basic design and coding standards
  • Ability to create functional designs for meeting business requirements
  • Knowledge of general programming concepts
  • Experience with a software product (preferred, but not required)
