Job Description

Job title: Ariba Project Manager

Position type: Contract/Full-time


Job Description:


  • Lead the delivery of SAP Ariba Projects (SAP Ariba Sourcing, Contracts, Buying and Invoicing Modules) and services as required
    • Experience with SAP Ariba tools and Project Management Methodologies (SAP Activate Methodology). Implementation of Ariba in various projects is a must for this role.
  • At least five years’ experience in managing Ariba projects; assists with project coordination, planning and management
    • Assists with tasks associated with monitoring and controlling the project
    • Monitor the project budget, project team timesheets, and coordinate project billing as needed
    • Works with consultants and managers to ensure the accuracy of project reporting
    • Captures project risks, issues, metrics and ensures that they are clearly communicated to appropriate Customer team members and project team, members

•  Maintain training to quickly learn targeted SAP technologies and methodologies.

• Assist in the creation and maintenance of project methodologies, templates, procedures and manuals.
• Assist in the monitoring and controlling of project activities and deliverables through the use of internal and external tracking tools and assist in daily scrum meetings and weekly status reporting.
• Assist in developing process and templates as well as establishing document control procedures.
• Build experience in SAP tools and methodologies addition to customer facing
•  Support project team throughout the lifecycle of the project in the planning, executing and monitoring / controlling of all Ariba project work streams

• Must be a graduate of an accredited university with a Bachelors or Masters degree in: Business Administration with an emphasis on Project Management, Supply Chain, Finance, Business & Engineering, Information Systems (Technology), Computer Science, Analytics or relevant degree.

  • Must be able to work as a team player, yet have the ability to work independently.
    • Must be analytical and detail oriented.
  • Must be proficient in MS Excel, MS Project, and MS Powerpoint.
  • Must possess exceptional interpersonal and communication skills including verbal, written presentation and listening.
    • Must be open to travel.

• 5 years of relevant work experience in a consulting or corporate environment.

• 5 years of experience in change management roles is a plus
