Position Summary:

Segue Technologies seeks a qualified ARTS/GTIMS Service Desk Manager. The selected candidate will join DSA's on-site support team as manager. This position requires weekend and/or nighttime hours per mission requirements. This is a full-time position, located at the US Army's Aviation Center of Excellence (USAACE), Fort Rucker, AL.


Job Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

·         Responsible for tracking and reporting team efforts in resolving user issues with both functional and common service applications, scheduling functions, and provide information for the effective use of GTIMS capabilities

·         Lead a team responsible for customer, syllabus, courseware and database support

·         Provide troubleshooting support for GTIMS functions at the user level

·         Provide training to new users as well as training that introduces new upgrades, functions, and releases

·         Assist with loading and configuring GTIMS client application on user workstations

·         Assist in deploying software releases, upgrades and patches

·         Perform software testing of GTIMS system and database administration as needed

·         Additional tasks as required


Required Skills:

·         Bachelor's degree in IT Systems, Engineering, or other field plus 3 – 5 years of related experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience

·         3+ years of experience in Service Desk, Help Desk or Customer Service support; troubleshooting and technical support via phone, web-based tools, and email

·         Proficiency with Windows Server 2008, and Exchange 2010

·         Active Directory, Linux, SharePoint, virus removal, troubleshooting and wireless connectivity issues experience

·         Good customer service skills such as verbal, interpersonal and written communication

·         Ability to interact with senior leadership

·         Working knowledge of networks and the interdependencies between networks and the desktop and other user platforms

·         Good leadership and motivation skills in order to help lead and drive a very busy Helpdesk

·         Experience in process of maintaining and improving quality of the Helpdesk function by participating in the appraisal system, and the Training and Development Plan of staff

·         Manager/Supervisor experience

·         Must have an active NACI or higher clearance


Desired Skills:

·         Active Secret Clearance

·         Experience using ARTS/GTIMS

·         GTIMS, ARTS or JPATS/TIMS experience

·         U.S. Army operations experience

·         Must possess a strong background in Ft Rucker Aviation training and Army Aviation Operations

·         Logical approach to problem solving and troubleshooting of complex systems

Job Description:

Minimum 3 years applicable LTE work experience including:

·       Experience in wireless technology related product engineering and/or product development 

·        PC experience including PowerPoint, Excel, Visio and network compatible application and test tools

·         Strong handset hardware and software (Android, iOS, etc.) background

·         Experience with analyzing RF KPIs using industry standard tools

·         Software UI experience

·         Sound understanding of Push To Talk - PTT (LMR, Tetra, WAVE, Kodiak) including Broadband PTT experience desired

·           PTT Console experience desired

·             Work directly with product vendors to secure latest products and software releases

·              Secure analysis tools and develop test scenarios to provide UE KPI test procedures and results
